PROJECT GEMINI

From 1961 to 1966 The United States developed the technology and techniques that would be used to reach the Moon. Each mission pushed the boundaries of  science and engineering.

Each of our 1/24 Gemini models is mission specific with painstakingly researched details.

The first manned Gemini mission flew 5, 23, 1965 with astronauts Gus Grissom and John Young.

The Agena Docking Target
Used on missions 8, 10, 11, 12  to rendezvous, dock and boost spacecraft into a higher orbit.
The Agena Target for 8, 10 and 11 are all slightly different while 11 & 12 look the same.

The  Augmented Target Docking Adaptor or ATDA
Used on mission 9 only. The target's shroud failed to deploy making it look like what astronaut Gene Cernan called an "Angry alligator."

This includes 4 models in 1/24 scale and in PDF format
